Its early in the morning and I've been up a lot with Baby Cakes and now I can't go back to sleep... I'm once again thinking about something that has been has been on my mind quite a bit, I've even created another blog for it but I have been thinking that perhaps that it will serve a better purpose here. I have been so blessed through out my life that I want to share the reasons for my abundantly blessed life, and that is the gospel of Jesus Christ. So every Friday I'm going to post something that has helped, inspired, uplifted, changed me and ultimately brought me closer to our loving Father in Heaven.
A little about me, when I was about 16 I was diagnosed with arthritis and in the 23 years since then I have had many surgerys to keep me up on my feet and living a purposeful life. Those years were hard full of wheelchairs, doctor offices, infusion rooms and uncertany. They had many lonely hours and empty arms that at time hurt much more than any thing my arthritis could inflect. Many hours of trying to understand what God had planned for me, understand his timing and purpose. It was and is during these times that a knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ gets me through, just knowing where we come from, why we are here and that there is a place prepared for all of us when we accomplish our mission gives me great comfort and the desire and will to go through, change and become what He would have me become. This is why I want to share, there is so much heartache, uncertany and restlessness in the world and this need not be. Yes there would still be trials and things that stretch us, but within those walls of tribulation and growth we can have a peace and a joyfull life BECAUSE of Jesus Christ! As it says in John Chapter 14 verse 27 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let your heart be not troubled neither let it be afraid. What a comfort that is! Come join me on UPF (uplifting Fridays) I hope that that is what it becomes! Ah dawn comes and from the other room I hear my treasures, time for a new day! Please share how you have been blessed this week, we are all in this together, lets uplift each other!
Beccamei fell asleep in her colorful tut and I could pass the chance to capture the moment, I love my girls toes!
