UPF Friday

The uplifting thought for this week? is simply that it is Friday, and that the week is almost over. It been a hard week. We got our papers back from the chinese consulate and all was great with the exception of one document, we had a problem with one of the signatures. We talked to our agency to see what our options were. Technically we didn't do anything wrong it was done the right way, but the consulate didn't like it so we sent it back with an explanation of why it was done that way. Our courtier has worked with them a lot and says that they have been good to work with him so, maybe he can help us. If not we'll have to start the certification and authentication over with that document, which could add how many days... weeks? I know that all things happen for a reason, but keeping that perspective is hard.
It seems that I am waiting for all the ducks to be lined up in a row, and all I see are unhatched eggs. As the saying goes that a pot never boils if watched, so it goes with unhatched eggs... I want so much for this "character building" phase to pass. They say to enjoy the journey and I believe that, it's just I haven't been very good at that this week. But I am grateful for my girls, it helps to remember the cute things that do and say everyday.
I was teasing Beccamei last night that her full name was Beccamei silly girl, and then I said no it's Beccamei sassy girl. She looked at me and said "no Mama it actually (yes she used that word) Beccamei Beccamei!' That reminds me of Hannali, at the same age Dan asked her if she needed to go potty and she looked at him and said "Daddy that's not your concern"... oh they are so funny, I love 2 year olds!
Anyway when I find myself looking so far ahead of me that I can't see, I have a song that helps me focus on today and to "enjoy the journey".  Here is a link, this one is from Cherie Call, another great artist!
Leave It Like It Is.
Here's our friendly FedEx man.  Nothing like meeting crazy people at the door with a camera!
