TA!!!

Yesterday we got our Travel Approval! We are so happy, and it's going to work out that we travel after Thanksgiving and be home for Christmas, AND we will be celebrating Sweet Baby's 2nd birthday at home. We have to be in Guangzhou on the 2nd for a gotcha day on the 3rd, Dan wants to go to Beijing for a few days before, we are still working on travel dates but we have one exact date and that is to get Baby that's all that matters right now.
Now for an update!
Halloween
Baby Cakes is always begging me to put lip stick on her, lucky for her it's Halloween! She likes make-up... makes me a little nervous! She sat and looked in the mirror for a good long time (oh dear)!
I see this picture and my heart hurts a bit they are both growing up so fast. When ever you asked Big sister what she was, it was never JUST a princess it was "I'm a princess of the enchanted forest"! Their IS a difference you know! Baby Cakes was a fairy, and a pretty cute one at that!
Yesterday was Big Sister's parent teacher conference, it was fun to see how well she is doing. Both (English and Chinese) teachers love her and say that she is a good student. It's such a fun fulfilling thing as a parent to watch your kids grow and become such an amazing kids!
Yesterday we celebrated Baby Cakes Gotcha Day, 2 years! We took her to build a bear and she picked out as bunny, she was excited to help stuff and give her a heart, clean her up and find just the right dress. She picked out the name Maggie for her, she seemed pleased. Big Sister got hers at 3 years also and she still loves her. They will both have fun playing together with their animals.

It was cute Big Sister and Baby Cakes were playing and things were starting to get a little heated and Big Sister started to get angry, Baby Cakes then said "Hey you can't be angry with me, we're friends"! Baby cakes is going to be another one who can communicated very well! Did I mention she just turned three?
I'm so excited for the Holidays! I think I'll try to get Christmas shopping done before we go...

We are still taking donations for the orphanage, thank you so much to those who have helped, we got the bottles in the mail today and now I think I'll work on the other stuff, thank you, THANK YOU!
