We all have to do our part...

Today is the day I wasn't looking forward to,  I said good bye to my treasures. I'm not worried about them being taken care of, I know they will be well loved, and I'm pretty sure that when things settle back to normal (a new normal) they will want to go back because they will have enjoyed their time there.  I just know that I will miss them terribly, I enjoy being their mom, I enjoy all the craziness and the excitement (of all kinds) that they bring. Don't get me wrong, I still think that bed time is one of the best times of day because I can be Helen for a few hours, but I look forward to seeing their sleepy faces in the morning. Just thinking about it makes me smile.  Tonight we were talking to my sister and she told me that she was having a conversation about Mei Mei with Babycakes. She told my sister that she didn't want me and Daddy to go to China and asked if they could just send her in the mail, my sister said "Mom and Daddy had to go to China to get Big Sister and Mom and Dad had to go and get you from China, and now they need to go and get Mei Mei. Babycakes was quite for a minuet and then Big Sister said "we all need to do our part", well said my 22 year old daughter stuck in a 6 year olds body!  I will miss them very much! I'm so grateful that we get to skype them everyday! WELL, here we go!
